I was also working on a paper on the concept of “fishing-by-industry”. This is a conversation about global fisheries that is currently being developed by the MSC. I was invited to work on the Global Fishing Forum. The Global Fisheries Forum is a collaboration between the MSC, the marine environmental management agency (MEFA), and the International Commission on Marine Fisheries (ICML). The MSC is responsible for the development of the official technical and scientific environment of the IUCN and the IUCM.
