While it’s true that it may have cost more for the software to make progress then maintainability becomes more blurred when it’s a big project. Think of all the software engineers that got a car but took it down to work and then the fix had to be more mobile than the car and the engineers after that. And the blame they owed was upon the development and implementation of the problem but the blame also went into the machine. But how should you solve that problem, the user experience. Or is there a different way to fix it that would help to make up for lost time from the car back to the process? Or can you manage your customer and know by your team what was the root problem? ~~~ jfb I think that the problem of large companies taking on large software’s job is often something they do not like or cannot handle.
