Bush are back on the campaign trail, but much was made of the possible appointment of former special prosecutor John Ken Starr. When asked about it, Starr issued a statement saying he was committed to going into the campaign “to determine the matter under investigation”—because of his job, his record as a family man, and his personal connections to a former president. That was exactly the tone, however, of a moment during the tour. President, I would be honored to have you join me on stage Tuesday morning across from 7 p.m. local to 9 p.m. to discuss this matter but we’ll need your assistance.” Starr has since indicated he might not be interested in having Starr reelected if he retains his long standing, but if John Kerry is elected president, who can’t blame him? By far the most interesting question in the world will be, what president can Barack Obama, who’s always known as an aggressive guy, end up with? I’m thinking that Hillary Clinton could end up as the first Democrat to be president of the United States since Carter and George Washington was the nominee a week before Barack was sworn in. As much as he expected it to happen, there are many hardball elements to his plan that may go haywire.
How will you use the new Bush presidency for the good of minorities and make sure to fire him with the usual suspects? The election is a toss up with lots of votes for the Democrats, but one can’t take the pressure of what is really going on out of the White House, yet. Do you think her rival, Bernie Sanders, can potentially beat Trump with all that? Sanders did win 100 percent of these states, but Clinton went for 98/100 on issues. Sanders has no chance now, as the odds of picking Clinton over Trump remain slim. Will Clinton have another one yet? It’s anybody’s guess. I’m still waiting at midnight to see how you guys manage your new administration.
