Vodafone SVP-CT, Dave Gulliver, said his company’s proprietary software is used to train and analyze large numbers of mobile customers. “With the Pro+X system and the standard app, my customers are saving their data by sending them messages,” he said in a recent online video. Gulliver said his company will present additional data collection service for all customers shortly. “So, what could we do?” Gulliver asked. “We could simply store all of the information we collect about you and this data would be provided to us. Would it help us find what could potentially be of interest to customers [who] are going to a higher cost?” As a result, Vodafone in early June began offering customers the chance for more personal data, including location and mobile billing information, in a program that supports real time device utilization of hundreds of thousands of customers by many regions.

Microsoft had introduced the “Pro+X” software on Windows Phone 9 and Windows 10, before the introduction of the new operating system and other technologies. “It brings the full potential to better service and really saves lives for each of our customers, which is very welcome,” Vodafone Chief Business and Human Resources Officer Bill McConkie said. Even though LTE is already available for telecommunications use, it’s becoming possible to stream and record data over a wide range of connections. With LTE service coming to wireless subscribers this year, Vodafone is looking to expand its LTE network to new areas with its new and advanced Pro+X software. Several Samsung GSM customers — customers using older and slower LTE networks — commented on the GSM-LTE speed package through the Web Sites section of their Vodafone product page.
