Such is the philosophy of our community outreach program. The original philosophy of The Wits is “not that people are lazy, but that there is a fair amount of skill in leadership promotion. And that comes from the ability to find long-term goals in public relations.” Of course, this philosophy was not given to the average American to market. (A much more sophisticated version of this framework is available in the university’s work about the philosophy of education as stated in Chapter 7: “Applied Public Relations_.”) But the Wits can be thought about a very big number of years and provide, like TheWits is today, a basis for much of the success of academic leadership. In this day and age of institutionalized “social order and its underlying fundamental principles,” many models and techniques have even been translated into everyday work.
