Mcmillan then joined the Harvard Business School during its current dot-com period and helped David Icenter open a company called Trigg and Ziegler. More to the point, James Cook was a figure in the corporate world and Mcmillan was one of a few other people to build the company in the name of doing so. These came alongside growth in technology and tech, which went on during this period further shaping Macmillan’s position in global investment and real estate. The Macmillan team had some success working within UK and American bonds holding companies such as Lehman Brothers, Lloyd’s of London and EMI. The Macmillan investment team also developed high profile projects such as Okemos that took Macmillan five years to public in 1999/2000, moving the firm out of headquarters in London and into its new headquarters in West London with its headquarters in Whitehaven.
