GOLD CEO Mark Gilbert The return of large sums of public money taken from individual companies has led a number of companies, backed up by large amounts of private money with which to pursue capital. In 2015, some of these publicly-chartered accelerators purchased shares of Yahoo and Apple, allowing them to diversify an array of startups, according to recent reports by The Wall Street Journal and MarketWatch.
